Turquoise Waters of Mull
Some places are remembered not only for what they look like, but for how they make you feel. Inspired by a campsite beach on the Isle of Mull, this original pastel captures memories of warm evenings by the shore, the scent of salt carried on the breeze, a campfire glowing nearby and a glass of whisky enjoyed as daylight slowly faded.
The west coast of Scotland is often celebrated for its dramatic landscapes, yet on calm summer days the sea transforms into brilliant shades of turquoise and aquamarine, resembling waters more often associated with the Mediterranean. Through soft pastel, I wanted to celebrate this unexpected beauty and the peaceful rhythm of life beside the sea.
